Carto uses Anthropic's Claude AI to generate meal plans and grocery lists. Your nutritional inputs are sent to Anthropic's API to generate responses. Anthropic's privacy policy applies to this processing. We do not send your name, email, or personal identifiers to the AI.
Your account data is stored securely via Supabase, hosted in the EU (Frankfurt, Germany). Profile and nutritional data is stored in your browser's local storage and on our servers.
We do not sell your personal data. We do not share your data with third parties except the service providers listed above, which are necessary to operate the app.
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and data at any time by contacting us.

Carto uses essential cookies and local storage to maintain your session and preferences. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
Carto is not intended for users under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
